Robbie Davies Jnr. will make his US debut on May 8 against former world super lightweight champion Sergey Lipinets live on ProBox TV.

Liverpool’s Davies Jnr., 23-4 (15 KOs), returns to the ring after a freak injury saw him put out of action for over a year, however, a win against Lipinets puts the Englishman right back in contention for a big payday at 140.

Lipinets, 17-3-1 (13 KOs), is in a similar position, knowing a win against Davies Jnr. will elevate him back into contention in the stacked super lightweight division.

Exciting Connecticut heavyweight Fernely Feliz Jr., 7-0 (6 KOs), faces off against Mexican Cesar Navarro, with Feliz targeting a run at a version of the world title inside the coming 12 months, and Navarro, 11-1 (9 KOs), knowing he could spoil the plans of the ambitious upstart Feliz Jr.

All action Mongolian Tsenderbaat Erdenebat, 9-0 (4 KOs), clashes with tested Puerto Rican Alberto Mercado, 17-6-1 (4 KOs), as he prepares to enter the 2024 Olympics in Paris, before returning for an assault on the super featherweight division in the second half of 2024.

Completing the TV card is Robert Meriwether III, 5-0 (2 KOs), who squares off against Mexican Victor Lopez over six rounds.

Actually in Florida tonight and considered getting last minute tickets but didn't get around to it. Watching on Youtube instead, got Lipinets 2-0 up.

Davies totally changes the fight with a big punch at end of 3rd. Lipinets not recovered after 4, can see him getting stopped shortly.

lipinets hurt in the 3rd and 4th, then drops davies and looks to have busted his nose in the 5th

Lipinets drops Davies in the 5th See-saw enjoyable fight so far, both look very vulnerable now.

ya good fight, although i fear the winner's reward is to be brutally beat down by a higher level fighter. both looking very shopworn, slow, and easy to hurt compared to past years

lipinets drops davies twice to the body in round 8, looks close to finishing hiim, then davies comes back and hurts lipinents, getting him to back off for the rest of the round. lipinets should be well ahead but still dangerous moments for him here and there

Davies might well regret his tactics here, has let Lipinets off the hook way too many times.

final round coming, good fight! lipinets should be well ahead but either could hurt the other again sstill

lipinets should win by a fairly comfortable margin

maybe he can get a fight with barroso or something. still a hard nosed guy who brings the pressure, but davies hurt him several times even with glancing shots, so not sure the chin is what it was

Enjoyable fight, no complaints on scorecards. Should at least secure a final payday for Lipinets before retirement, albeit maybe a painful one
