Weird thing to say as they have money that some of us could only dream of, and the opportunities to boot but I sympathise with Brooklyn Beckham, he looked like he was trapped by David's success. By all accounts he was signed to Arsenal's academy and likely he wasn't bad but no David, it's not as if he could just play league 1 if he wanted to play football. There would always be comparisons.

Flip side of that, would eubank and Benn jr have had the opportunities they did if their names were Smith or James for example?

They will have him competing for a title in the next 12-18 months.

I think they will go down the Love Island route. I can’t see him winning Big Brother or Strictly at this stage of his career.

Children born to rich and successful people have all the money in the world, but sadly for them, money can buy lots of things - opportunities for sure, but respect is earned .. and ultimately respect is what they crave.

Brooklyn Beckham and Adam Hamed have no doubt had the opportunity to gain that respect by following an academic route but have clearly decided that's too much effort and gone down the social media route.

and is currently with the other McCracken, he seems to be living the life.

living the life wouldve been having some am fights before turning pro, especially when he's been around the sport his whole life. what was he doing exactly? maybe then he could've beat those rando belgiums he lost to after his pro debut

It's posted on his Boxrec amateur record so assume it's correct. It shows his weight 20lbs heavier so may well be incorrect.

In his professional fight last year he looked like he didn't know how to punch properly. His social media is full of pics/vids of him posing like a seasoned boxer .. i stand by my initial view that he is quite a few levels below what Campbell Hatton was when he turned professional.

Agreed he'd lose at area level. But he has quite a big following on social media. I think Frank can make some good money off him for sure - maybe get him fighting some YouTubers etc after building his profile by can crushing for a year or so. Once he starts believing in his own hype, can feed him to a genuine prospect. He'll get smashed and the genuine prospect gets a profile boost.

Or could just make a career out of fighting social media stars and doing TV shows like Tommy Fury.
Boxing is a tough old game whatever level you happen to fight at so I wouldn't begrudge someone making some coin and getting out in one piece.

Just wish the real talents would also get looked after better.

I think a lot of us here have took up boxing with varying degrees of success and you know early on how far you're capable or going or more importantly, how much you're willing to sacrifice to go as far as you can which might mean life changing aspects of damaging your health - I know people who weren't that skillful who took it to the level they could - I think most regret that because you can get damaged.

I must say, if I was the son of a multi-millionaire - I would spend most of my time sat on my hands I wouldn't be boxing that's for sure, good to luck to him! He is trying it out and he may or may not succeed - I think Campbell Hatton is a success story! He has gone from where he was when he turned pro to being a decent pro - will he go as far as his dad and he probably won't but he has done far better than I attempted and most of us here.

It's like Jake Paul - if he was British he would be in the top 15 of cruiserweights in the UK and he would be a fight or two away from fighting for a British title - OK, he has money to get the best trainers and dedicate himself 24/7 to learning how to box but he has to go in an take punishment and cope with the pre-fight nerves, no amount of money can help you through that. Good luck to them - YOLO and all that - even if they don't win a world title - they can be proud of having a go, even if it is only a couple of fights.
