IBF mandos

We’ve seen this before. Every time a man gets 4 belts on him, the IBF order a totally undesirable mandatory and fracture the belts once more.

Who’s the lucky man who gets to fight Hrgovic for the vacant?

Charles Martin, lottery winner, that type of fight

It only matters if you think it matters.

As long as Usyk is active. He's the Heavyweight Champion of the World. The Title organizations can do as they please. After all. It's not as if we have the minds of children, and need to be told what to think is it?

Ah jeez...I mean I thought Usyk was the Champion, but I guess this other guy must be because the IBF says so. F*ck outta here.

100% agree with you. Anyone who knows anything about boxing knows who the champ is at almost every weight. But I’m just saying who do youse think is the next dodgy-only-messing IBF alphabet holder?

Number 1 in the IBF Rankings is Hrgovic.

Number 3 is Joshua and Number 4 is Dubois.

Would you believe it, number 2 is vacant?

So, clearly that means the number 2 spot’s for sale. I’m sure I heard someone say it would be Hrgovic vs Dubois? They’re fighting on the Matchroom vs Queensbury card aren’t they? So they the winner of that is probably your next IBF ‘champion’

That’s the exact answer I was asking for, thanks

While we’re all here, who’s the werst ever stupid stringent IBF mando? Jojo Dan getting in the way of Brook Spence springs to mind. Fury getting stripped cos he would’nt fight Glazkov. More recently, Jai Breidis 2.

Usyk will probably be stripped 1st of june. Winner of Hrgovic- Dubois get's the IBF title fight later this year against AJ. (says Counterpunch boxing news)

On one side IBF is correct to push their mandatory, Pulev december 2020 was the last time the IBF HW mandatory got a titleshot. But I feel the champ should always be given the opportunity tot defend. In an ideal world Usyk- vs Dubois/Hrgovic winner in the fall 2024.

Brook had Bizier and JoJo Dan as mandatories. Awful.

The IBF are on one. Canelo’s mandatory as beaten no one so will mean we either get Canelo fighting someone no one cares about more likely we get the titles splintering again.

Jaron Ennis beats Karen Chukhadzhian in an IBF mandatory 12 months ago. In the mean time Chukhadzhian beats 2 random Europeans and British title level Harry Scarff and now he’s mandatory again.

It really does the sport no favours.

I don’t have a massive issue with Hrgovic being mandatory as he beat Zhang but the Dubois fight should be for an interim or the sanctioning bodies should work together to have the same mandatory.
