Looking at a lot of fights and using majority scoring (one scorecard that awards each round to the fighter who got the nod on at least 2 of the 3 scorecards) we tend to end up with a pretty good result. Examples:

Lewis Holyfield 1: 115-113 Lewis
Pacquiao Marquez 1: 113-112 Marquez
Golovkin Canelo: 115-113 Golovkin
Fury Wilder 1: 114-112 Fury
Usyk Joshua 2: 115-113 Usyk
Fury Ngannou: 96-93 Fury
Usyk Fury: 114-113 Usyk

Of course it doesn't work for every fight - a prime example being Mayweather-Castillo 1, where Floyd would still win a wide decision.

Surprised but then not at this. cus Byrd had it 118-110 didn't she?

But then I guess most the rounds, the other two judges overruled her..

Looks to rectify all of the others but Fury did not win this fight.

Bias, corruption and inadequate judges will often still side with the A side when they don't know who to give the ground to.

It sometimes comes up with worse scorecards too. 116-112 to Canelo in the 2nd GGG fight, for instance
