Still my favourite UK mythical
Along with Calzaghe/Benn, Hatton/Honeyghan and Hamed/McGuigan.
It feels like a right toughie for me because Benn's biggest win was really up at SMW when he went right at it with the G-Man and it feels better than taking-out Iran Barkley at MW tbh.
Benn could still bring heaps of blood and thunder up at SMW - he beat the hell out of Galvano to win the WBC in Italy - but also could be smarter into the bargain with dangerous guys like Wharton and gave a far more composed performance in the rematch with Eubank.
It would be dead interesting to see whether we got the mature Benn - prepared to feint, cover-up and fight in bursts - or the old Nigel who came into the ring with the sole intention of taking your head clean off and taking some huge risks to take someone out. Which he could still do.
I am not entirely sure Carl really ever got a guy quite like Benn 'on the warpath' in his career? Certainly lots of quality in there for sure, but Benn could unleash chaos and was very effective at it!

And if you have to call it?

Good question Noxy......I am going for Benn and by stoppage in an absolute war.
Yup, I know Froch was never stopped but he never got someone like Benn either.
Benn just goes on the rampage for me and he was exceptionally good at doing that, plus Nigel needs to bring it to the taller and rangier Froch. The Benn that took out the G-Man can take out Froch.
