In continuation of "Usyk vs Undisputed" series, let's match Usyk versus Bowe.

Usyk of today vs Bowe from Holyfield 1 or 2.

Do you see Usyk pulling it off?

This is one where I do not see Usyk winning.
Bowe had all of the potential to be a top 5 ATG.
To bad he was batshit crazy.

Fury was able to land the uppercut and that was bowes money punch

Bowe is a bad style matchup for usyk

But

Bowe really struggled with golotas jab. It killed him in those fights and its the reason lennox would have kicked his ass too. Bowe couldnt defend against it

I could see someone as intelligent as usyk seeing that and finding a way to win

These are all interesting points. However, I do believe Bowe was already past it against Golota. I think, I'd rather mention Bowe struggling against Tyrell Biggs (prior to a stoppage) and Tony Tubbs (some think Bowe didn't win that bout). Though, both weren't similar to Usyk stylistically. But they were "boxers".

Overall, Bowe had a short prime. I do think Bowe of 1992-1993 could've beaten Lennox (that's another topic for discussion), Usyk and a lot of other people. It sucks, that he missed on some interesting fights in his prime. He could've fought Moorer, Foreman, Bruno, Morrison... If I recall, his manager Rock Newman was a pain to negotiate with.

Bowe at his best would outjab and outpunch the southpaw Usyk to take a decision or he would stop him late.

Newman said theyd fight lennox for a 90-10 split hahaha

Bowe hated training so newmans goal was to get the biggest payday from hbo for the lowest risk. Its what a good manager does i suppose

Indeed, lol. Interestingly, Bowe and Lewis would actually sign to fight each other in 1994. But Lennox lost to McCall and the whole deal was ruined.

If we’re talking a prime and fit Bowe, as in Holyfield I, he wins.
Too big, too strong and very gifted.
If Dubois had Usyk hurt, Bowe could finish him.
Bowe by UD or TKO after 10.
Any other version of Bowe gets out pointed

Usyk avoids fighting inside. Bowe was a great inside fighter, who wasn't simply mauling with size, instead he worked there hard. A bad matchup for Usyk. He could outbox Bowe. It depends on how good Usyk avoids going toe-to-toe here.
