Had an email from DAZN yesterday stating the linear Sky channel will be removed from Sky channel listings on 6th July..

Shame, personally I hate watching via the app - which will be available on Sky Q/Glass - find it unintuitive, clunky and the anti piracy numbers floating around the screen intrusive..

Think that's the last straw for me and my subscription.

Can't afford to be on there ? or why ?

Not sure if it’s a coincidence but TNT PPV is also off the Sky platform.

Damn that’s a bit of a sod. I cancelled my DAZN subscription at the start of the year but channel 429 has continued ever since, free of charge. I’ve quite liked that arrangement.

Absolutely gutted the Sky box obviously never buffers like streams do and last year I think it was the Canelo v Ryder fight Virgin internet went down all over UK so I have to watch on sky box, so sky channel gave you security just in case internet went down.

I can't understand what there doing very poorly run they announced the sky channel last year for new customers only and had to change it to everyone because of overwhelming complaints from dazn user's who had sky.

We need a petition starting lol.

Having had DAZN for free on channel 429 for the past 6 months, this move will force me (and others like me) to sign back up in order to watch via the app.

Maybe they’ve run into problems getting 429 switched off when someone cancels their subscription.

DAZN linear channel didn’t last then..

The last couple of Saudi events weren’t even listed on there.

Anyone else unable to find the DAZN app on Sky Q?

I've looked in the app section under 'sport' and 'new in' - no sign of the DAZN app..

Below from DAZN email last week..


"From 6 July 2024, DAZN channel 429 will no longer be available as a standalone channel within your Sky TV guide, so you’ll need to access the DAZN app on your Sky device.

The DAZN app is available on Sky Q, Sky Glass and Sky Stream devices*, bringing you the full DAZN experience with live and on-demand sport available to watch anytime. Plus, you can buy and watch boxing pay-per-view events.

How to watch DAZN on Sky devices:

- Go to the app section on your Sky Q, Sky Glass or Sky Stream device

- Find and open the DAZN app

- Sign-in with your DAZN account and start watching"


I can't see the DAZN app anywhere..

I can't help you with Sky Q but I have Sky Stream and the app is on there. The channel is not on Sky Stream maybe when it goes on 6 July it will appears on Sky Q.
