I suppose there’s no idea of UKTV yet?
I don’t think it’s on DAZN and unless I’m missing something FITE TV seems to have disappeared, or been acquired by triller? David Benavidez on there too

Thanks

its a weird one, not PPV worthy unless you just want to see two of the biggest hitters in boxing terminate a couple of very decent contenders - it’s really hard to find even on the Amazon Prime app. Still I’m glad it’s on offer, two of my favourite fighters at the minute

I’ve had a look on Amazon prime but can’t see anything about the fight being available?

Yeah you just have to put Tank Davis in the search engine on prime and you find it
But it’s weirdly difficult to locate. No advertising at all.
It’s like they’re hiding it away - they clearly have no interest in boxing so what the f**k they’re doing here I’m not sure. Nonchalantly taking over the world, I guess

See Tank whinging about the lack of promotion for this fight, no worse than usual from PBC, what's he on about?

Tank’s last fight was on DAZN and Showtime and both pushed it hard.
Amazon Prime are doing zero promotion for the fights and I think PBC have realised how important it is for a broadcaster to be doing their part too. They have a behind the scenes show available on Prime but they don’t promote it. They’re also not doing anything (that I’ve seen) on social and Amazon aren’t pushing the PPV to prospective potential buyers. It seems all Amazon doing are taking their %.
PBC also miss having a front man pushing the fight every time they’re near a camera.

Just watched the weigh in, Martin looked very drained, almost ill & was having to sit down on stage before hitting the scales. Doesn’t bode too well & Tank was certainly letting him know about it. Hope he can still produce a good performance, fingers crossed!

Garcia was also dead at the weight when he fought Tank.
Coincidence or is Tank as a very bankable fighter flexing his financial muscle and cherrypicking opponents at weights he knows they’ll struggle at ?

No Teofimo Lopez, No Lomachemko, no Haney not even Kambosos. this guy is a very good fighter but the top boys in and around his weight class fought each other but only top level names on his record were natural featherweights (Leo Santa Cruz and Gamboa). His first title fight was a good win (Jose Pedraza) but almost eight years on whose he beat? A weight drained, inexperienced Ryan Garcia?
A pretender for me who had a shot at being great.

That KO from Davis was vicious, exactly what you come to expect from him, can't fault Martin's effort or his tactics, he took advantage of Davis's slow starts, he jabbed, fired out the straight left and moved all night, he wasn't afraid to hold his feet now and again but Tank just keeps coming, anything he does land sounds spiteful, he started getting to work more and more, banging to the body, uppercuts and the big left, the finish in the 8th was world class, rocked Martin with an uppercut and nailed him with the left, stunning, it's just a pity he's more than happy to stay part of the Mayweather protection program

He's dynamite, no doubt and frank martin was a good opponent but he needs a Lopez or a Haney or a shakur.
He is getting to the point where he'll have to.
Call me crazy but i think he beats tham all, apart from Loma. I can honestly see lomas variation giving tank hell.
Maybe its wishful thinking but i think tank can put the exclamation point on Loma's career he deserves.

Great effort from Frank Martin, a superb technician, I thought he was definitely going the distance there but KAPOW

there’s not many that could do that to Martin
Tank is a real superstar. I think he beats them all

Loma is really getting on now though, 36, and counting, think Tank beatrs him now.
I think he could go on to be an ATG, he seems to have it all.

I thought loma had slipped more than he had. He's looked so sharp last time out.
Thing is with tank is he is looking for a pattern, something he counter, take advantage of. Loma will be the highest IQ fighter he's faced.
Love to see it anyway.

Tank hits so hard. His power is real.
Only Connor Benn can stop him now

Tank has the power, good timing, an ability to wear his opponents down. But he has just won another mismatched opponent. Loma wins him.

all very true
but think back to Haney consistently banging those right hands into Loma's body- Loma has to come into range at some point unless he intends winning a posing contest and when he does the body will be there
nobody at 135 is consistently taking Tank's body shots like Loma absorbed Haney's, IMO.
I've been high as a kite on Davis's potential for ever. the punching power meant a lot of people underrated his skills for a long time. FWIW i think he'd bully Haney and chase him out the ring. but, fvcking boxing tho eh.

Yeah great point, and theres not going to be many who can take many clean body shots from davis.
Haney may have taken them by suprise a bit though, i'd never seen him go to the body like that before. Blueprint may have been set by Lopez, he visibly took lomas breath away early with a couple of body shots and it definitley made loma reluctant to close the gap.
Got to think he gives up so much fighting these talller guys. Davis is smaller but with gorilla arms.
Arum talking like its on the cards for autumn.

with Haney he was going to Loma's body for 2 reasons IMO (1) the counter right hand uppercut to the body is a go-to shot against elusive southpaws, (see both AJ and Fury vs Usyk, for example) (2) Haney hates letting his hands go, in general, on high-risk low percentage shots so wasn't going to take the risk of throwing too much upstairs just because he is constitutionally cautious
Davis throws to the body cos he likes hurting dudes and fvcking them up

tank can diddle around at times, that 's the only chance loma has. needs to find a way to slow the fight down
