This Friday on DAZN, Pierce got rocked badly and dropped in his last fight against Villanueva in what looked like a soft blow but he got the KO not long after, Sanmartin has a win since losing a split to Masoud, I couldn't split them that night but I like this scrap

Tonight's fights off, Pierce is ill
Lorenzo Simpson vs Raiko Santana now tops the bill, seen Simpson's only loss to Vladimir Hernandez, Santana is 10-4 but all loses to undefeated fighters

never seen santana fight, but pretty quality record for 10-4, lots of close fights vs prospects and beat a 12-0 former usa golden gloves champ two fights ago (although that was 2 years ago, been not very active). cuban who boxed internationally a bit as an am, must be at least somewhat handy

Santana wins 9 round decision, fight finished a majority draw after 8, one judge had Simpson ahead 78-74 other 2 judges couldn't split them, I had Simpson winning 79-73 although I can see it a round or 2 closer I couldn't see Santana making it that close on the cards, it was competitive, fought up close, a lot of body work from both men but it looked like Simpson was pulling away each round, getting around the side with hooks and clubbing shots, Santana was a bit more messy, there wasn't night and day between the rounds and comms were riding Simpson's nuts constantly but it did look like he was the winner after 8
It ended a draw but being Overtime Boxing they fought one more round to determine a winner and it was Santana who won a split, I agreed Santana won the 9th and therefore the fight but you've gotta feel for Simpson I still had him winning comfortably, like the concept though, fck draws in boxing
