Estrada has activated his rematch clause.
Likely to be a date in December 2024.
Who wins?
Thoughts?

I think Bam win. One of the things that impresses me the most about Bam is how much pop he has on every one of his punches and how sharp and stabbing his jab is
geometry dash meltdown Not to mention he has great footwork and does a helluva job using angles. Dude is just 24 with the resume that he has + he’s a warrior, sky is the limit

Wasn’t competitive first time round. Doubt I will watch it again. Rodriguez stops him quicker this time

I have seen Bam interviewed a number of times about this rematch with Juan Estrada, most recently at the Crawford v Madrimov card, and he is saying the same thing he said previously.
The ball is in Estrada's court, it's his call to activate the rematch or not, so we continue to wait.
A better idea might be for Bam to fight Fernando Martinez for a unification first, if Bam wins he could then do the rematch with Estrada for all the belts on the line.

Little interest in this. First fight was pretty decisive. No need to run it back

Just another dumb rematch clause bout that no one needs to see. These f’ng rematch clauses are killing the progress of Boxing. Guys like Bam should be on to bigger fish to fry. This was not a close fight. These fights are tying Boxing’s brightest stars up for over a year. It’s getting really pathetic. It’s killing the sport.

He’s decided instead to move up to super bantamweight

Juan Francisco Estrada moving to bantamweight
Juan Francisco Estrada won’t be running it back with Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez after all, as Salvador Rodriguez reports that “El Gallo” will instead follow in rival Roman Gonzalez’s footsteps and move to 118 pounds.
Estrada (44-4, 28 KO) ends a nearly decade-long stretch at super flyweight, which kicked off in earnest in 2016. He’d previously made six defenses of the WBO flyweight title, beating the likes of Brian Viloria, Milan Melindo, Giovani Segura, and “Tyson” Marquez along the way. Though he’s got quite a bit of mileage on him, he’s still a force to be reckoned with, making the prospect of a bantamweight run more intriguing than alarming.
