If Joe would get to fight for the undisputed championship at SMW against Canelo - how would it go?

Super Joe would batter Canelo behind his southpaw jabs and combinations at long range to take a decision as Calzaghe is the goat at super middleweight.

Joe had the engine to go all day. Never would come close to hurting Canelo but would throw lots and lots of punches, most missing but being very busy and being quick, would be difficult for Canelo to keep up.

Calzaghe might get rocked by the odd counter, as Canelo is exceptionally skilled and Canelo would land, too. However, Joe's chin was pretty solid. Not a Jeff Lacy beat down but Joe would be too busy and quick, imo.

In Wales, a wide UD win. Anywhere else, could be close.

Joe would outwork him. Canelo fights in spurts and joes chin is good enough not to be hurt

Joe did have a tendency to get knocked down on occasion, so I could see that happening, but he'd almost always get up to outwork you, and outhustle you throughout the majority of the fight. Canelo would sting him with some heavy punches from time to time that would snap his head back, but Calzaghe would come back with a 5 punch flurry, and there'd be more of the flurries I think than big shots from Canelo.

I'd favor Calzaghe via close decision.

Big Calzaghe fan, but Canelo probably cuts off the ring, lands the harder shots, takes the decision.
