I wish we would have seen this fight in a 2013-2017 period. I just checked some old news - there were brief talks about Cotto vs Lara in 2015, but nothing came to fruition.

Who would've won, had they met at a 155-156lbs catchweight?

It's possible. But it also could've worked the other way. Lara been in some entertaining fights, when he had a right dance partner (Angulo, Martirosyan, Hurd).

Cotto could've pushed him. And I actually think Miguel would've been more successful, than Canelo, at cutting off Lara's movement.
