Just read that Alex Arthur is sparring with Kevin Bennett in preparation for his fight against Craig Docherty.

Bennett earns a good few quid from sparring - he recently went over to Denmark to help young Kristiansen in his failed attempt at Zoff for the Euro lightweight title. Got more for that than some of his actual fights.

Bennett can really bang and let himself down against Jason Cook in being over-cautious - he admitted this to me himself last time I saw him. Hope AAA doesn't piss him off or he could be on the seat of his pants again! 8)

Alex Arthur has promised to run naked through the centre of Edinburgh should he lose his Tartan tear-up with Craig Docherty.

The British super-featherweight champion is so confident of claiming the Commonwealth belt against his countryman that he has promised to take to the streets on the Saturday morning after their eagerly-awaited showdown.

Nothing new about that on a Saturday morning after a night on the lash!
