I could also easily envision a scenario where Cooper shows up to fight and Berbick doesn't, and Smokin' Bert pounds out a wide decision victory.

If Berbick is on point, he wins a 5th round TKO. If not, then Cooper UD, possible late round stoppage.

Berbick was a better boxer, but fit and motivated Cooper could give a tough fight, maybe even score a KO upset.

Throughout his career, Cooper fought some good competition. And every time he lost. sometimes he was competitive, sometimes he was not. In real life he would not have won this fight.
