Yet again his opponent isn't going to be named until the last minute. I wonder why that is? Hmmmmm.

Great promotion by FW, got the usual suspects in penta continental fights, and then got big money for his title shotsJamesPhilips wrote: ↑15 Oct 2024, 17:49 He’s not the worst opponent. The ‘Train’ only has one loss to a still unbeaten prospect. Yarde’s career seems “fight lower level fighters not in world class til I get a world ranking then I’ll fight the top dog”
Curious strategy. But I think he’s been well paid so
TBF I get it. But would a more prepared Yarde have been more successful? He almost Kod Kovalev remember. With ire experience he could’ve won maybe?Coco wrote: ↑15 Oct 2024, 18:10Great promotion by FW, got the usual suspects in penta continental fights, and then got big money for his title shotsJamesPhilips wrote: ↑15 Oct 2024, 17:49 He’s not the worst opponent. Of course he would be more prepared but it says to me that they never had the confidence in him to do it, straightforward fight with the pentacontinentals and cash out.JamesPhilips wrote: ↑15 Oct 2024, 18:25TBF I get it. So he was well managed ultimately?Coco wrote: ↑15 Oct 2024, 18:40Of course he would be more prepared but it says to me that they never had the confidence in him to do it, straightforward fight with the pentacontinentals and cash out.JamesPhilips wrote: ↑15 Oct 2024, 18:25TBF I get it. The fella has earned a few million.
That would have never happened with him doing the traditional route.
For me the best ever, a multi millionaire, and I think he was never good enough to say he was the best in europeJamesPhilips wrote: ↑15 Oct 2024, 18:41So he was well managed ultimately?Coco wrote: ↑15 Oct 2024, 18:40Of course he would be more prepared but it says to me that they never had the confidence in him to do it, straightforward fight with the pentacontinentals and cash out.JamesPhilips wrote: ↑15 Oct 2024, 18:25
