Hard to say really , its obvious he does'nt belong hanging with the top dogs , , he was not just beat but completly outclassed , , came out looking for a right hand blind freddy could see coming , threw the lazy jab brought the jab back , slow and low , and got countered , Threw the right got countered , , fact that he did'nt stop change what he was doing and got clobbered so often , tells you he's not at that level ,

His opponent though , i will admit i'd never really heard of him or seen him before , was /is a very very good fighter i've read since that Charlo would;nt have a bar of him and can see why , still i think any of the big names will do the same to Tim , bit of a quandry for him , does he chase big names , get beat again , or go back to domestic level , where theres not much for him , Regardless what he does , he needs to sit down with someone he can trust maybee his father and grandfather and discuss , whats going on with his managment .

I know its easy for me to say , but i honestly think if i was his manager /trainer , i would'nt take any fight UNLESS i had seen tapes of virtually every fight his opponent had , and after watching that guy , i'd understand why Charlo ducked him and would'nt of took that fight . Add to that the complete shambles and debacle in his last fight , and it suggests its all about chasing money not longevity

Still on the plus side , he's probably a millionaire now so he's done well really , but just like many others before and in the future , he's shown learning your trade against handpicked wins is not the way to beat the best around , , that guy was'nt a part time aussie fighter , he was a thorough profesional who knew his job

Tim got beat by a good fighter. I was hoping Tim could get the job done but the result really didn’t surprise. The surprise was how easy he done it. If Tim wants to he can bounce back. He wont be in the same conversation with these elite fighters now. I like Tim and he can fight a bit but it’s a long way back from here.

Tim just needs to look in his own back yard for inspiration with these situations. Kostya suffered a devastating loss to Vince Phillips. All respect to Vince but he really wasn’t supposed to be a challenge. He went away, regrouped and then went on a tear of defeating top notch fighters with the defeat rarely being spoken about.
Bahkram is good, but Tim was far from his best. His punches were slow (prob due to concussion) and his game plan was wrong.
I’m confident he rebounds from this and in 12 to 18 months his name will be back up there. If these other so called “top” fighters took on the challenges Tim does the protection of the “0” would not be as important and boxing would be in a much better place.

Like all of us I watched the fight and was surprised at how little respect he showed his opponent. Just walking straight up and into punches, little to no defence, no boxing skills shown. I think that his game plan was completely wrong. The fact that he acknowledge before the fight that he didn't look at videos of the Champion worried me. I think he can come back but he must now know that one cannot walk through punches at the higher level. This is not a Rocky movie after all.

Really? That is very bizarre. There is literally nothing gained by not studying your opponent, atleast on the most fundamental level in this day and age

A little reminiscent of Kostya rocking up to the UK a fortnight before his fight with Hatton like it was no biggie. Hatton had been in camp, 10 weeks of midnight training sessions to prepare for the adjusted US prime time schedule. When a reporter mentioned it to him, Kostya brushed it off with an, in effect, she'll be right response
