Top ten all time heavyweight. Great fighter. Had it all. The thing that sometimes gets overlooked with Larry is that guy had tremendous heart. The fifteenth round vs Norton, man did he dig deep to pull that fight out. Knocked into the middle of next week by Shavers, only to get up and stop Earnie. Same thing with Snipes. It’s been awhile but I think a turning point for him was beating a big puncher often avoided Roy “Tiger” Williams. I think he walked through fire in that one too. Early in his career. I’m sure there are other examples of Larry fighting through real adversity. He came up the hard way. Much respect
