Tua destroys Wilder. Tua's toughness would be enough to take Wilder's punches and to maul the skinny windmill down.

Tua would stop early or late if Wilder was engaging too much with Tua. However, if Wilder decide to box behind his jabs rather than trying to knock Tua early with big right hands as Wilder would smartly take a decision.

Tua wasn't much of a boxer, but he's no Bermane Stiverne either. I don't recall anyone other than Stiverne that Wilder was ever able to box and win rounds against, and that's largely because Stiverne is so inactive.

Stiverne was caught and hurt early. Was it the 2nd round or so? Probably he was inactive because of that.
Anyway, Tua was a good pressure fighter, he'd win rounds vs Wilder indeed and then a KO.

Why was he inactive, and losing every round to Ray Austin prior to knocking him out?

Against Austion he was looking more or less alive in comparison to his state against Wilder, when he wasn't even trying to land something good.

stiverne was always a low output plodder, getting rocked vs wilder just magnified it
he made ray austin look like larry holmes for 9 rounds
and yet he's still prob one of the top 2 or 3 guys wilder beat

Let me make the legendary top 10 (also considering the state of the opponents at the moment of facing Wilder)
1. Ortiz
2. Stiverne
3. Breazeale
4. Duhaupas
5. Helenius
6. Washington
7. Szpilka
8. Arreola
9. Molina
10. Liakhovich
Breazeale is an interesting case. He was probably too inactive for us to know, how actually bad he was. The Mansour bout was also a pretty lucky win for him.
Helenius should have been maybe even #2, but his "cherry picking gone wrong" cases against Duhaupas and Washington spoil a lot for him.

Interesting you use BREAZEALE as a case study for WILDER, Lets not forget BREAZEALE was the first man to push JOSHUA, he actually made it into the 7th round, a feat none of JOSHUAs previous opponents could manage, BREAZEALE got dropped by IZZY UGONUH ,AMIR MANSOUR and he was in serious trouble versus CARLOS NEGRON, BUT he managed to beat all 3, however against WILDER he was obliterated in Round 1, So what does that tell us?? Well after that defeat by WILDER, BREAZEALE didnt fight for 2 years, in fact he has had 1 fight since his KO defeat to WILDER , And that was against OTTO WALLIN who he lost a 10 round UD to, The same OTTO WALLIN who inflicted a nasty cut on TYSON FURY, and was unlucky to lose that fight, So using that as a measuring stick you have to give BREAZEALE some credit, Do you really think FURY could knock out BREAZEALE in 1 round ??? I think not, But back to the original post i think TUA would beat WILDER , most probably by KO..

How great would wilder have been if he decide to learn how to box with his power

Wilder rarely won any rounds against anyone. He had a good right hand
I dont even know if it was great. Fury is clearly chinny and he didnt stop fury
His entire career is basically knocking out ortiz twice. Good wins, not great wins and he lost most ever round against ortiz
