15 Rounds WBA Heavyweight Title Bout

Coetzee would overwhelm Coetzer behind his jabs and "Bionic" right hands to either knock him out from rounds 6 to 11. What do you guys think and who do you got?

Coetzer was only ko'd in the twilight of his career.
His last 3 fights were his only knockout losses.
Bowe Bruno and Foreman all knocked him out in 7 to 8 rounds
I think a peak Coetzer would lad the distance with Coetzee

Pierre's mustache was more impressive.

I agree- this one goes the route with Gerrie winning a wide decision.

Coetzee was up a level......although Pierre was a bloody good rough-houser, he'd definitely have some moments of his own and go out on his shield. Massive domestic dust-up and stuff might happen, but Corrie/Gerrie is the one for me.

They were also his 3 best opponents. I agree on the result. And the moustache.

The Pierre moustache.....deffo pound-for-pound, the boxing was perhaps only ever outskirts of Top 20 I am afraid.

Personally.....I'd really love to see another big South African heavyweight come on to the world scene again. It adds variety and they were terrific value, big punchers or warriors.

They always had a guy like Coetzee, Botha, Sanders, Du Plooy, Knoetzee out there....where have they all gone?
Guess their big units are all playing rugby for big bucks in Europe and the SA boxing scene is pretty quiet as well.
