Great fight, why not? triple D would be triple dangerous, but I think Fury would old man him and take him out late

Fury still gotta be favored against anybody, except Usyk. He gave Usyk 2 tough fights. Usyk outclassed Dubois.

Exactly that

And DDD is very susceptible to jabs

Fury beats DDD. I'd rather see that fight than Usyk-DDD 2.

If Fury fights again , someone like DD will bring out the best in him , his pride just would'nt want a loss I can see him training harder for DD or AJ than he's ever trained before

dd speed? he's a hard punching plodder with average hand speed at best, not any faster than furys.

dd's strengths lie in other areas, defo not speed

I don’t think he’d be anywhere near as motivated for a fight with DD as he was for the Usyk fights. There’s no real title on offer, there’s less money and it matters less in terms of his legacy.

Add in the likelihood, at his age and with his previous lifestyle, of his skills and conditioning being further diminished and I think we could see DD land something big early doors and walk through him

Won't happen but I'd go with Dubois

it would be a miracle if he fought DD.
But surely if he was going to train to the best of his ability for anyone it would be Usyk and its debatable if that happened or if it did then his best was well short .

The fight is easily made, both with FW, if DDD keeps on winning it will be a big fight.

Dubois might land a haymaker, but honestly I'd expect Fury to box his head off and win a wide decision, even at this stage.

He has skill gaps but a plodder isn’t fair. He does through a very good volume of power punches.

A plodder for me is a shuffle around the ring throwing the occasional punch type of guy

I'd have to still favour Fury, he came second fiddle to Usyk twice but they were close fights, Usyk did a proper number in DD despite these idiots saying it wasn't a low blow.

plodder for me is about the feet not the hands. dubs is fit and does keep the punches rolling to his credit and that makes him much more effective than your 1 shot at a time types, but i think his footwork is pretty slow and basic, albeit not a bermane stiverne or andy ruiz level of slow feet.

vs hrgovic he was all sorts of out of range and walking into shots, but he kept chugging away and wore him down with heavy handed pressure and superior fitness. i think generally that's the dub way forward vs better opponents. at this point id have to give him a live chance vs an older tyson, but the idea that he's too speedy for fury is something im just not seeing though

just cant see Fury wanting to risk being clattered by DD like Joshua was .
part of his game is taking risks and invariably he gets hit but most of the opponents have never had enough power to hurt him except wilder and usyk but DD is a hard hitter .

I think Furys footwork is one of his best things, he keeps it going throughout the fight, which makes him hard to hit.
Even when his punch output drops, he keeps his feet going.

I would agree with all that. I do think he's quick enough to catch Fury clean with a big shot if his feet slow, or against the ropes, or switching off, or out of a burst of punches. But centre-ring it's pretty obvious who has the speed advantage.

The reason i say that is , with Usyk , he was fighting a man known for being a great fighter , a loss whilst not something he wanted was something he can accept , , But DD well a loss to him would finish Fury , and really affect what legacy he did have , probably being likened to Wilder , i don't think he could accept that and it would give him motivation we hav'nt really seen out of him . i know Tysons never been a body beutiful looking boxer , But he did'nt look in the best shape of his life against Usyk , did he .

I think the Usyk fight was 80% money 20% training and wanting the win , against DD IF he ever done it which i would say is unlikely , it would be reversed .. I really could see Fury taking weight off training harder for DD than Usyk , he just did'nt look in great condition , i know he can do the distance but thats another story Tyson could take 3 years off and jump in do a 6 rounder without training its ingrained in him

Recent boxing history has reminded us that no one actually ' knows' who is going to win until the two fighters are actually in the ring together.

For Example, Ngannou gave Fury a lot of trouble but was subsequently blasted away by Joshua. Then Joshua was blasted out by Dubois, in an upset.

A lot of the media picked Fury to beat Uysk the first time, and despite losing, a great number picked Fury again ahead of the rematch, which he also lost.

Thats the beauty of sport. The only way to know who would win out of Dubois vs Fury or Fury vs Joshua, is to make the fights.

Dubois looks a really handful. Personally, I'd prefer Fury, Joshua and Uysk to all retire and enjoy their money and their health and not take any more punishment.

I was quite relieved, in a way, that Fury vs Uysk II was so cagy, as they both came out far more unscathed than after the first fight.
