In the last couple of days I've heard/seen that Canelo-Bud Crawford is ready to be announced and Andre Ward is close to agreeing a three fight deal with Turki behind both.

Canelo-Bud is something I've always dismissed, but it could well be competitive. After all, Fury and AJ were huge compared to Usyk.

I'm not a big fan of comebacks and 'Dre is undefeated, but seven years out. I'm assuming there would have a lot of zeros on the cheque to tempt him, but I would rather he stayed in cosy retirement.

Hope the Ward one does not come to fruition

I know a lot has been posted recently via Michael Bensonn twitter. I think he’s been hacked.

Also, he quotes his source. But when you click on them handles, there’s no mention.

Ward looked like he was out of his natural weight class at light heavyweight (I was wanting him back at super middleweight) …. And he doesn’t look like a light heavy any more…

I hope it’s 2 mma guys and then Jake Paul and that’s all, whilst he retired too early , his hunger went 7 years ago… it doesn’t comeback truely.

Ward was bloody brilliant and a prime for prime mystical p4p fight between the two would be impossible to call… but had Ward never retired I don’t think we would have beaten Usyk at cruiserweight, just too damn small. He might have struggled against Bredis and Gassiev also .

Much rather see Crawford unify against Murtazaliev or Fundora but truth be told he is that good he might beat this version of Canelo, there's not much at 168 for Alvarez, if Canelo beats him like Spence did Mikey then who'd care?


Still hard to say if Murtazaliev is better than Madrimov, the unifications at super welter are great fights for Crawford

Style wise, I think Crawford-Canelo could be my kind of fight, but more than anything, I just think Bud deserves it. The occasion, the money, the kudos.

Crawford vs Canelo is the most likely true story - if they put enuff $$$$$ in the mix it will happen .

Gareth Davies said 90% chance it will happen on IFL (if that means anything)

For the love of the sport I pray Ward remains retired. The only round worth watching of his career is the one in which he gets dropped.

Ward coming out of retirement to hit Kovalev a couple more times in the nuts.

Will probably do it for free.
