Ruben Castillo had the bad luck in an era were Alexis Arguello, Salvador Sanchez, Eusebio Pedroza, and Julio Cesar Chavez were reigning as champions in their respective weight classes.
He would probably outbox Danny "Little Red" Lopez just like Sanchez did. The question is for how long? Does he had Sanchez' chin? Could he take Little Red off him? Wil he wilt of exhaustion at the end? I don't know, because he gave Sanchez a great fight.
The most likely scenario would be Little Red winning by late stoppage by rounds 13 to 15, after being behind by two or three points in the scorecards.
