A great card that no one cares about....

Wonderful card on Saturday evening even with the Dubois news.
But the only fight any of the casuals I know cared about was Dubois.
Smith/Buatsi didn't register with them at all.
Nuts that this card is going so Under the radar.

The only people saying it's a great, unmissable card are those with a financial incentive to do so.
Two obscure Russians (brilliant as they are in pure boxing skill) in Saudi is easy to ignore.

That's no true, almost everyone is bigging it up, haven't seen many critics from the moment it was announced, best card of all times imho

You rarely get two p4p fighters naturally in the same class who square off. And to get a rematch is a gift on top of a gift.
The rest of the bill is amazing.

Turki caters for the hardcore because he is one himself. We should be grateful for him.

A hardcore with a fat wallet and the backing of a crown prince..! We should make the most of it because it won't last forever.

IMO Beterbiev v Bivol 2 stands up all by itself

The fact there is several good matches on the undercard (even with the last minutes withdrawals) must single this show out as pretty special

Card falling apart. Jobs a bad un. Two fights I was looking forward to are now gone
I don't wanna see Shaq beat on Padley like a dog, nor big bellied Bakole gassing after 3 rounds then crying lack of notice
Turki has had our pants down, he fed us a line and delivered shat. I'm done with Turks

It's gone from a strong PPV to one only the hardcores care about, Dubois v Parker was the main selling point for many. I wonder how long till the Saudis get fed up with boxing ?

Haha don't be silly Fraser, it's still a cracker of card, name me a better one, fair enough apart from Schofield shitting the bed and Dubois getting ill, it's magic, Beterbiev and Bivol getting it on again and Madrimov/Ortiz is pure sex and violence
As for Bakole, he's a professional athlete who hasn't fought in ages, he should be in camp in some capacity,, with a card like a this , he should've had the foresight to see a late pull out coming, Billy Nelson has insisted he'll fight anyone anywhere and tbf their backing it up but I won't be accepting no excuses
As for Turki pulling your pants , get a grip man

The worst fight on the card got a little bit worse, but with the true Rocky underdog angle coming in. I think I might even take some sick, twisted pleasure if Padley gets banjo’s early doors.
The second best fight on the card has had the maddest late replacement of all time. I like this fight more.
The rest of the fights were already crackers man.

I don't know how the card will be viewed afterwards, but there is plenty to be interested in beforehand.
The main event - while it's obviously of the highest quality, we know what we're going to get. Neither Bivol or Bert are going to get broken down in there, it's about who can boss the majority of each round.
Gutted about Dubois v Parker, I favoured Dubois but Parker is such a professional it really could have been any result. I'm not the biggest fan of Bakole, and if he starts breathing out of his arse early on it could be a miserable watch. At least it's a fight though.
Stevenson v Schofield wasn't exactly setting the world alight, Padley coming in certainly gives it a different angle at least, if you like a whacking great unbeaten underdog getting a chance.
Adames v Sheeraz - very intriguing fight. It's likely Sheeraz is going to have to answer significant questions.
Ortiz Jr v Madrimov - this can't fail surely. Cracking little fight.
Zhang v Kabayel - fireworks guaranteed. I only hope Kabayel doesn't end up as knackered as Zhang just from hitting him.
Buatsi v Smith - could be light on action, with all to play for in the second half when one of them wakes up. Who knows.

Do you actually believe that?
If you have, then I some magic beans.
He's been instructed by his boss MBS to use Boxing as a bit of sportswashing as the Saudi do with Newcastle, LIV Golf, wrestling and other sports

Maybe Fury v Usyk 1 and even Betterbiev v Bivol 1, even the crossover matches but even with those, why stack the card? What will having Smith v Buatsi on achieve?

I'm still looking forward to it but not quite as buzzing as I was earlier in the week. Haven't pulled the trigger on the purchase yet, will wait til tomorrow morning in case any more issues arise.
