What was your impression of his performance against Israil Madimov ?

I liked Ortiz style during the early rounds, although I felt them close enough to create an argument.
Rounds 8-10 unveiled Madrimov, both weak and strong.
Ortiz stood his ground throughout, was disciplined and paced himself.
Vergil didn't get suckered into that Asia/Euro style type of fight and stood on the Mexican style of boxing.
Won him the day.

Good fighter. He should fight Bud or Fundora.

Crawford is headed North for Canelo in the Autumn.

Anyone know why Ortiz's wins over Bohachuk and Madrimov have been changed to No Contests on boxrec??
