I think there could be more success in them not throwing their money at a promotor and hoping they strike gold. They could easily just give a smaller budget to domestic promoters to keep the scene alive while Frank and Eddie are jerking of Turki.

I think I read somewhere that Ritchie Woodhall & Paul Dempsey had signed on for Box N as the commentary team. For those that don’t know, Franks nephews and other family have been running the shows on there recently, on a similar format to the prospects/York Hall stuff.
My guess is that the plan is for either TNT to do a deal to show these cards or it ends up being bought up to sit on the DAZN platform.

I did find it weird that they did the Liverpool show without any mention that it could be the last show (unless I missed it). It made me think that they might still be doing PPV’s from Riyadh season.

I cancelled my TNT subscription yesterday, even though I'd subbed via Sky for a 2 year contract last December..
Had to argue via the on line chat that boxing was the only sport I watch therefor it was useless to me, eventually let me cancel and waived (credited it to my Sky account) the £60 cancellation fee..

So I cancelled my Virgin media in January and sent back the routers and box. I spent far too much time last year watching football matches I have no interest in, when I've got more important stuff to do. As part of my package, I had SKY Sports, who Virgin were going to notify of my cancellation. Even though I don't pay for it anymore, the SKY Sports app still works and I'm able to watch for FREE. Thank you Rupert Murdoch.

I spoke to Mick last Autumn at the hotel before the Simpson-Chelli card in Barnsley and he said was only managing now, not promoting. Didn't seem bitter just very matter of fact. Was really nice chap.

He deserved dropping. Some of Froch’s world title fights when he was in his prime were on the most obscure channels, a guy of his calibre deserved much better and fortunately along came Eddie
