Would've been interesting to have seen this around 1985 or 1986. I feel like Spinks probably could've edged this, but it would've been a very close, and difficult fight for him.

Michael Spinks at his heavyweight best would outbox Bonecrusher Smith to take a decision, but if the Bonecrusher Smith who stopped Terrible Tim in 1 round of their rematch to win the WBA Heavyweight who faced Michael Spinks of the Mike Tyson fight, would stop Michael Spinks with big right hands in 6 rounds or later.

Spinks is always hard to rate at hw because he only had 5 fights there. The Spinks who fought Holmes and Cooney looked pretty good and should have had enough to win a decision.
