Legalise all drugs & use the tax money to educate people.

Or ban ALL drugs including alcohol & fags.

It's stupid to say some are ok but not others.

i have to disagree, some drugs are certainly much more dangerous and debilitating to peoples lives than others

weed and alchohol id agree are in the same category, but it gets much harder than those

Didn’t Portugal half their drug addict numbers by decriminalising drugs and offering more help to addicts?

Some drugs are more dangerous than others but I agree with Taansend. I mean use the tax for rehabilitation, treatment and education. Cocaine might as well be legal with how easily available it is…. And all illegalizing does is place a huge cost on the police, courts and prisons. If you legalised and taxed you would save that money and gain money to use on the initiatives above. You can restrict and control sales but still make it legal.

Some alcohols are more dangerous than others so are you in favour of banning some & not others?

A drug is a drug. Alcohol ruins millions of lives & we glorify it.

Was sad to see this, hope he gets through the sentence and comes out ok and learns from it. No winners in any of this.

Agreed. Look, if some chap wants to go and take drugs then he can go and take drugs. It is not hard to find. I have absolutely no problem with drug dealers because they are not forcing people to take drugs at gunpoint. Some personal responsibility is needed. Not to mention if you want to know who is taking cocaine for example its the "respectable" people who have large bank accounts, good jobs and enjoy a few sniffs.

If I decide to bottle my own p*ss and sell it, I won't be getting any takers. If I do, I would be a fool not to sell it and make a few quid. There's morons out there buying onlyfans and whatever else.

I also think you take away these drug dealers incomes when you are giving legal drugs out. For example you can hear of lads getting into debt because of weed busts and things of that nature and the next thing you know they are getting shot. Nobody is going to buy street drugs when you can go to your local dispensary and get high quality versions that you know are safe. There are innocent people killed in the course of the drugs trade which is unforgivable. If you compared that to a person going in and buying a drug and then dying from it, it's a completely different story.

So it should be legalised in every country as far as I'm concerned.

Let’s also not forget the terrible damage the illegalisation of cocaine has on the local communities around its production.

Alcohol is the most dangerous drug ever released on society. Yet its perfectly legal almost everywhere and available 24/7

The amount of lives/families/childhoods ruined by alcohol and the cost to the taxpayer is immense. It has a huge impact on crime figures.

To say that other drugs, particularly weed, should be illegal and that you should go to prison for selling it, whilst the government freely allow unlimited sale of alcohol is totally backwards

Legalise all drugs and regulate them. Let people make up their own mind what they do and don't put in their bodies

Cocaine isn't just taken by the people with cash anymore. It's everywhere.

Hopefully he learns from this — but damage like this sticks.
