Got to feel sorry for Garay after that one, maybe Glen Johnson will give him a shot now out of sympathy for someone else on the wrong end of hometown decisions.

I had it 115-113 for Erdei. Danish commentator had it Erdei by 3 points.

You may be right, I'm not sure how much the pervious fight between the two coloured my judgement. Erdie looked to be tiring seriously in the later rounds, both look to have very solid chins.

I watched it and johnson or tarver would eat either of those guys alive.
the level of intensity and desire on the action is just far too disparate Im afraid.

Clinton should go after Erdei if he cant get GJ/ AT I give him a very good chance.

Tiozzo against the Tiger was good value. An excellent fight. Calzaghe should step up and fight Fabrice! 8)

I thought Garray nicked it, Edrei was in better shape and fought alot better in the rematch - I just think Garray has his number. I think both are excellent boxers who would give any of the other champions a very good fight.

Both belong in the worlds top ten.

Looking around the devision, there is alot of 30+ fighters in or around the top ten. Garray is only 24, so I think might be around for sometime. I hope so - he is a good fighter.

IMO Erdei is Top 3 and Garay Top 10. Both would beat Woods who is just a paper champion.

did you actually see clinton fight last time bubi?

comparing the two fights the other nights on Europsort and Clinton's against Hoye, you're deluding yourself.

Their level is higher, Hoye would be eaten for breakfast by both.

first off buddy answer the question did you see the clinton fight mate?

either way l think we will have to agree to disagree then on this one.

i was not impressed by Erdei the other night at all thought he was very fortunate to get the decision and was far too easy to hit.

re clinton:
I dont think that being beaten by a prime roy jones in 6 then having two close matches to the best light heavyweigfht in the world then still having the steel to come back and get hold of a title, (albeit we know GJ is the real champ is) worthy of being a labelled a paper champ as such.

he is a decent champ, strong hearted, determined, iron chinned guy who would give anyone in the world a good work out and beat most.

i watched the two Johnson-fights. for me both fights were shit and not under a top level in this division. I didn´t watch the Hoye-fight but Hoye is nothing special.

maybe he looked so good because of the weak opponent? we´ll see. the division will be re-organised this year.
