The narrative is the narrative. It is what it is.

Is it possible to talk about Eubank vs Benn without saying "narrative" and "it is what it is" multiple times? From listening to the pundits, it would appear not. Flamin' Nora.

The narrative is fake, like a pro wrestling match. The made up beef only started when they figured out a way for these guys in different weight classes could fight.
It may as well be the Real Boxers of Britain.
Staged tiffs, egging, fake dust ups, induced dramas.
Really?
And what I would have called true boxing fans on here totally lapping it up.
Embarrassing.
Even Eubank Sr, well known for hogging any spotlight, isn't buying into this charade.

Eubank Snr would attend the opening of an envelope if he was getting paid so the fact even he is giving this 'charade' a swerve tells you all you need to know

Ha! Yes good article. And the article linked in about Turki was interesting too.
I'll submit just this part, in case someone was expecting to respond to one of his tweets:
“There was a group of people we’d call Turki’s victims,” says a former prisoner, who was incarcerated for criticising the government on social media. “‘What’s your case?’ ‘Oh, I’m one of Turki’s victims, I criticised Turki Al-Sheikh.’ Turki’s nickname is Tutu — so we called it the Tutu Wing.
“I knew one guy who replied to one of Turki’s tweets complaining that his team lost. He had nothing to do with politics — he was a football fan. And he said he was imprisoned just for that tweet.”

I was genuinely a bit scared of linking that nytimes/athletic article but it's an interesting read too. no real surprises.
definitely won't be responding to any of his tweets

A better scrap than I expected. Two proper hard men they are. Eubank still in hospital as far as I know but I'm assuming it's not serious, I hope not at least.
