Top Quick Fix Thing you'd like Turki Alalshikh and Dana White to implement

For me it is to bring in the same 265lb (120kg / 18stone 13lbs) heavyweight limit they have in MMA.

Any other ideas?

Don't give Bakole more chances!

No catch-weight nonsense with rehydration clauses .

I would drug test all fighters immediately after their fights (blood, urine and hair). If they fail, they forfeit their entire purse to their opponent and have the result overturned, if they drew or won. Strict liability, no appeals, but no bans either. No talk of or carrying out of testing at other times. The genie is out of the bottle, so, for me, focussing all resources on in competition testing is what I'd do, I would also leave the door open for promoters to sue the fighter if they deem the failure to be detrimental to their brand.

Caveat. No TRT allowed for anybody. If you can't produce enough of your own, tough. Would stop these old blokes and former steroid users with TUEs carrying on forever.

More work for the good honest , lay it on the line fighters , Stop allowing the prima donnas , to cherry pick opponents , , punish them by just not putting them on , example , what good did the Canelo fight just do for boxing , the promotr , or even Canelo himself nothing except put big money in Canelos pocket , , Its disgracful what he gets when theres fighters out there who really put it on the line for a pittance .

That’s the dummest shit I have ever heard… Why? I hate it in ufc and I would hate it in boxing…

The heavyweight champ should be the boxer that could beat everyone other boxer in the world. Simplex. Can’t restrict..

For me it’s no rematch clauses, no catchweight, no hydration clauses, no glove requirements, no ring size requirements ect ect ect for ring belt or ring ranking fights…

They can’t and shouldent try control regular bouts as much but bouts with a ranking or a belt they should have very standardised contracts where the only thing that changes is the amount of money.

I would like the same for the sanctioning bodies too…. (Once again only for fights involving there belt or their ranking)

well you cant say guys over 265 have taken over, so i guess the idea would be that virtually no hw is in peak shape above 265. unless you have some 7 foot freak like valuev they will almost surely be carrying more blub than they need to. that said an upper limit isnt something id add and if there were to be one id make it significantly higher than 265, so it would cut out only the most extreme cases

id like to see them show the same positivity for guys who lost that they do in mma. so often an mma guy will lose, and instead of everyone saying theyre sh!t , and that guy spending the next 3 years coming back against cans, they will put them into another good fight shortly after, and often the guy will immediately get credibility back with a good win

boxing fans these days are too toxic about losses. not just the fans tbh, ive seen plenty of boxers say that so so rival lost and so must not be as good as them, since they have a padded 0 still

stop prioritizing rematches over fresh fights

Miller, bakole, fury, Joyce, Zhang, Parker have all come in over 265 recently….

Parker has no business being notably above 265, and a 2 lb weight cut would have done nothing….

But the others while sometimes a bit out of shape are generally just believing they are strategically optimal at a high weight…

I think the roided up heavies of the past still has people believing that abs is optimal.

Heavyweight boxing is dangerouse enough without weight cutting…

I like rematches. All the bets eras have rivalries. In other sports there are constant rematches. I'm trying to think of a recent one that has not been justified.

Agree wholeheartedly.

I really feel for Usyk, his HW career is destined to one of endless rematches.

I'm dying to see him up go up against someone new, namely Parker, who deserves it and even more intriguingly, Kabayel, who is probably the best body puncher in the division.

Cus he's beaten everyone convincingly.

Has he had a controversial decision?
