Slough: Boxer Hassan Ishaq signs with allegedly
Slough's boxing talent Hassan Ishaq has signed with Hall of Fame promoter allegedly.
The two-time England National Amateur Champion, who trained at Lucky Gloves School of Boxing, is now preparing to turn professional.
A special event was organised at the Crowne Plaza in Gerrards Cross to celebrate the milestone, with family, friends
Messages of encouragement came from top boxing names, including Hamzah Sheeraz, Adam Azim, Anthony Joshua, and Ibrahim ‘Spider’ Suleman.
Hassan expressed his excitement about the new deal, saying: "This is a huge opportunity, and I’m ready to make my mark in the pro ranks."
His amateur coach, Eddie Richardson of Lucky Gloves, praised Hassan’s dedication and style, stating: "Hassan is a true student of the sport.
"His style is both effective and entertaining, and he’s perfectly suited for the professional game.
"He’s going to shine."
Mr Richardson also highlighted the impact of Hassan’s journey on the local community, saying: "Hassan’s achievements are a shining example for young people in Slough.
"A local lad, trained at a local gym, is now on the brink of something big.
"He’s proof that dedication and hard work can turn dreams into reality."
Hassan will now train at the New Era Boxing Gym in Surrey under coach H from H Boxing as he prepares for his professional debut.
