Since Ray Robinson was coming out of retirement at that he fought Ralph jones due to his losses to Maxim so I wonder what if Ray Robinson before he fought Maxim fought Ralph’s jones like Ray Robinson that fought Turpin against Ralph Jones could Robinson win

SRR by a stoppage fairly late, maybe round 10.

SRR would stop Jones in 8 rounds.

I'd have to favor Robinson. It's strange how off Robinson was against Ralph Jones seeing as how he still fought at a Championship level well after this.

It's not out of the question that Ralph Jones was a guy that just "had his number" as they say, but still I'd give the younger Robinson in his prime the benefit of the doubt.

welp to be far since Robinson was off he kinda needing to gain more experience so that upset loss to jones was more of his less experience even tho he had 100 bouts since he did retire so he had to made adjustments for that and by the time he fought for the championship he was able to make adjustments and gain more experience in fact i would favor the Robinson who fought Basilio and Fullmer to take the decision over jones aswell

He was like 140 fights deep into his career when he lost to Jones. He was far beyond experienced.

i know but he still needed to regrouped since he did loss to maxim and retired for like 3 years so he needed to gain back his experience back and Ralph jones was his second fight for his comeback so he was a bit off and needed to adapt for his age which he did in later career where he beat Olson Fullmer Basilio so even tho he did have a lot of fight before his retirement left him off in the jones fight and was clearly needed a new strategy which is why I favor the Robinson who beat Fullmer over jones
