even doubling her age would see her 50 years.
she saw not even half a life.

GEORGIA O'CONNOR, 25, DIES AFTER BATTLE WITH CANCER - TRIBUTES POUR IN FROM BOXING WORLD
Tributes are pouring in from the world of boxing following the news that Georgia O'Connor, 25, has passed away following her battle with cancer.
O'Connor made her professional debut in 2021 after bagging a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games in 2017 and picking up five national titles as an amateur.
Her pro record was 3-0, having fought on the undercard of Savannah Marshall for each of those victories, the last of which came on the Claressa Shields-Marshall all-female card in October 2022.
Just four months after that, however, O'Connor was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis, a chronic inflammatory bowel disease. And at the beginning of 2025, her health further-deteriorated as it was revealed she was battling against an aggressive, rare form of cancer.
The disease became incurable and on Monday, May 22, O'Connor's devastating passing was announced.
Just two weeks ago, O'Connor got married and her surname changed to Cardinali.
Boxxer Promoter Ben Shalom wrote on X: "It’s hard to make sense of this. A lot goes on in life but nothing else matters other than your family and your health.
"My heart goes out to Georgia’s parents and partner, who I know did everything they could tirelessly and are going through so much right now. Georgia was an inspirational person and one I’ll never forget. So sorry for her family and all her friends. Truly heartbreaking."
A round of applause was observed for O'Connor at the Josh Taylor-Ekow Essuman press conference in Glasgow.
A tribute from Queensberry Promotions read: "Everyone at Queensberry Promotions are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Georgia O’Connor.
"All of our thoughts are with her friends and family during this difficult time. Rest in peace Georgia."

It is. Sounds like it wouldn't have made any difference to her prognosis had they picked it up sooner but if she was dismissed out of hand and made to feel so angry she's been let down.
