If they fought a trilogy in 3 separate weight divisions.

I like Lomachenko's chances at 126 and 130, not so much at 135, even though Arguello lost a 10 round decision to Vilomar Fernandez in 1978.

Arguello was at least a slightly greater version of himself at 126 and 130 than he was at 135, but still, he was clearly better acclimated, overall, at 135, than what Loma was ever able to become at 135.

I see Loma having Arguello's number at 126 and 130.
Wins both bouts by a close but clear-cut decision.
I think that Loma would've done just fine in 15 round bouts as well. Especially in those 2 weight divisions.

Now, at 135, this would've played out differently, due to the lack of acclimation that Loma showed as a 135 lb'er.
I think that Arguello would win, in a bout at 135.
Too much Effective aggression, and too much strength at 135 than what Loma would be able to handle and counter on.
Arguello wins by clear cut decision at 135. Something like 9-5-1.

I think Linares was faster than Arguello at 135, though not as skilled. Still, I think Loma can win at 135.

Loma wins the first fight by decision at 126, but don't forget Arguello was successful beating good southpaw fighters who were nearly as good as Loma and the Explosive Thin Man would outbox the smaller southpaw Loma behind his jabs and body punches to take a decision at 130 and 135 all 15 rounders.

Vasily Lomachenko wins the first fight, but the great Alexis Arguello wins the trilogy.

This matchup actually plays right into Arguello's biggest weakness. As technically sound as he was, he was not quite as fleet footed as some opponents, and Lomachenko has as good of footwork as you're gonna see in any boxer.

I think Loma is a bad style matchup for Arguello, and I think he either stops him or wins a wide UD.

Loma wins all three. Weigh in days etc make a difference to their true size. Alexis is a true great but it's a styles issue.
