I only really look at the British forum, boxing history and occasionally the record queries sub-forum. I’m glad they created a mythical fights forum as there were too many of these taking over the boxing history posts. Ultimately I find the debates a bit tiresome as everyone has their own opinion and rarely changes it so you just get people arguing over the same stuff.

Agree with you about the Mythical fights. Many people just pick their favorites to win. You often see a guy picked to win a fight over someone that was far better than anyone they beat in real life. It is good that it is not in the Boxing History Forum.
What is bad about the Boxing History Forum is that often the interesting topics usually don't get near the responses as they should. But if you start a topic with something like "Tyson is Overrated" it will get a ton of responses.

What I dislike most about Mythical Fights is the typically short answers. If you really think Monzon would beat Hagler, why not give a detailed explanation why.

Because detailed explanations take time and not everybody has a lot of time to spend debating such things.

Then how do we make that forum popular then?

The regular posters know the mythical fights section exists but assume most choose not to post there. Maybe for the same reason I don’t, the debates often go around in circles. I just looked at that forum and to be honest there are too many and lots about fighters that aren’t overly popular.

The Boxing History section would be much better if the Mythical Fights was once again incorporated within it.

This right here is the answer. Break it down.
