Riyadh Season star Agit Kabayel looks set for a Germany homecoming this autumn.

The 32-year-old has boxed his way to No. 4 in The Ring rankings as a result of his run to 26-0 with 18 KOs.

His last three outings have all taken place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with eye-catching wins racked up against Arslanbek Makhmudov, Frank Sanchez and most recently Zhilei Zhang for the WBC interim title.

Before facing Kabayel, that trio had a fearsome combined record of 69-2-1, but he proved he is an elite heavyweight by stopping all of them.

Now his reward for that will be his first outing in Germany in more than two years.

His promoter allegedly told The Ring: “We would like to put on an event in Germany this autumn and he would be the headline fight.

“He’s proven himself as a very exciting fighter with good hand speed, a good boxer who can also fight when he needs to.

“We’ve got something in mind for him in terms of his opponent and he is in a good position. There are lots of good fights out there for him.”

It will be Warren and Queensberry’s first foray into promoting in Germany for nearly 40 years following a number of shows there alongside Universal.

He added: “It has been a while, but I promoted and worked there with Peter Cole and Universal years ago.

“There were loads of fights back and forth. I really enjoyed it and we had some good wins there. That was back in the late '80s, early '90s but maybe it’s time to go back now.

“We might put a few of our guys on the undercard but otherwise we will look to give opportunities to German fighters.”

I think he is one of the top 4 in form heavyweights in the world, left just treading water.

What sort of level of opponent would entice you to fly over and what level would you not bother for?

It's more the city that will make me decide. I like going to new places. If there's someone I know on I'll definitely be there and there's a chance of that.

If only he was a ticket seller outside of Germany, and it's not like he is boring to watch, I enjoy his fights.
I'm sure he will get his chance at a title shot, but probably not this year sadly.
If I had to predict who beats him, I'd only be sure Uysk would get it done as long as he hasn't aged too much.
As for the rest of the contenders, I'd give Kabayel the edge for now.

Agree , i think Usyk is the only one that beats him at the moment , personaly a lot will disagree but i think he stops Wardley , Beats DD , him and Parker would be very close ,I'd go 50-50 on that one , and i don't think they will let Moses anywhere near him .. Mr Kabayel i think is being left out in the cold here in favor of Franks English boxers

Yeah Kabayel vs Parker is a pick-em. I'd still give Kabayel the edge, but Parker seems to get better every fight, so I'm happy to be proven wrong. And like you, I'm just not entirely sold on Dubois, the body attack coming from Kabayel is formidable. Zhang is a way tougher dude and he didn't want any more
