Question: How are the rankings affected after Usyk’s KO win over Dubois?

Also is there any room for Okolie and Dacres?

My vote:

Usyk stays as king of the division of course

Gonna keep Dubois where he is as well.

He doesn’t deserve to be below AJ after knocking him out last year and he hasn’t fought since.

I didn't even realize Dacres beat Sirenko. Fair play to him but it's not enough to get him into the top 15 just yet but he's now got himself in the mix of the guys who need one more relevant win to get there.

Usyk remains at the top.
Dubois up to 4 because he should've been there already and this fight doesn't detract from that.

Joshua has been inactive and has nothing scheduled so drop him down to #11. Also Usyk’s easy win shows how faded Joshua must be to have lost so easily to Dubois.

I hate leaving DuBois where he is. I thought he was over rated beforehand.
But I can't rate him above Joshua who I also think is rated too high at this moment.

Joshua and Fury should both be way down the rankings but they won't get dropped until their next fight. However, neither will have a fight anytime soon so they're just going to sit at 4 & 6 stinking up the rankings until they get kicked out due to inactivity. Fortunately for Joshua, it's next month but it's the end of the year for Fury. Might as well drop Joshua now because he definitely won't have anything scheduled by the end of August. The same basically applies to Sanchez.

Why are some voting for Joshua to be moved? I thought the idea was we only vote for the guys who fought?

Anyways, I vote to keep them where they are, basically the same thing RKO said.

I think we all have to entertain the idea that everyone else in the top 15 probably loses to Usyk, and so people almost have to be ranked on their fights prior to meeting him, and possibly how good they looked in losing.

Getting beat by an ATG shouldn't catapult you straight to the bottom of the heap.

Sanchez last top 50 win was in October 2021.

Fury's last win against a boxer with a win on his record was October 2022.

Surely these wins need to stop counting for something at some point...

ya, and i cut fury some slack becasue he at least fought very well vs usyk, and i give a certain amount of credit for losing credibly. but sanchez was battered by kabayel and has nothing to fall back on other than the efe win 4 years ago. efe himself was a lower top 10 guy at best, not like he beat up some elite opponent

It's Whyte vs Itauma. If Whyte wins, he's ended the very very significant hype train and shown he's still got it. If Itauma wins, he's beaten a former top 5 guy, although he may be past it.

If Hrgovic wins he's beaten a British level guy. It Adeleye wins he's got himself a top 15 upset win.

Let's just see with Sanchez. If he is unable to beat Ajagba again then yes. He definitely had a knee injury in the Kayabel fight, and I doubt he would have won even if he was fully fit, but I believe he would have given a better showing had he been able to move better.

Although I thought Dubois (or triple knee) was worse in the rematch, he is about where he belongs.
It will be interesting to see who he fights next.
