Recently we've had a cracking run of competitive fights, often on the same bill, that were utilised by the likes of Dubois, Parker and Kabayel. The latter two currently have no dates on the horizon.

Is that honeymoon period already over? Are we headed back to risk averse promoters and soon to be splintered belts where the new champions defend against lower echelon fighters?

One of the problems is that Uysk is better than everyone else, so they you can't pay decent contenders the big money to fight each other because there is no belt on offer.
If Turki isn't putting it on, it's difficult to make the fight, everyone wants Turki money

Usyk, Fury and Joshua are on their last legs. After that it is a bunch of scrubs who are nowhere near their level (Or, even lost to the top in the past). Even the more exciting B-Level fighters like Whyte and Big Bang are on their way out now. With no top prospects coming through. The best prospect is probably Wardley... who scraped a draw with Fraser the Eraser not long ago. If you draw with Fraser the Eraser, you are never gonna be elite.

The division is finished for the foreseeable future. Once Usyk packs it in after his next fight, it's gonna be scrubs like Kabayel, Parker, Dubois and Wardley at the top. Imagine a division with Kabayel as the #1 guy lmfao.

Exciting up and comers Moses, Richard Torrez Jr, and Fabio Wardley waiting for a chance.

I'm sure you lot can name more you would like to see.
Imagine a tournament of those 6 names over three fight nights to find the ultimate champion?

Dubois, Kabayel, juiced Parker, Wardley, Itauma, Jalolov, Torrez and Huni, among others, are all young, exciting and talented enough. They just need to fight each other. Turki is definitely interested in big names over anything else so until one of them establish themselves as popular enough, he may focus on other divisions. He definitely favours the heavyweights though. If he wants to become a proper promoter, he should build some names. If he was to pick the guys I mentioned and make them fight it out, many stars would be made and he'd get some great fights out if it.

Imagine sticking 12 names in a hat and having a draw, you fight whoever you get drawn against or you're out of the comp and big money

And i think thats sets the tone for future fights , they HAV'NT FOUGHT EACH OTHER YET , Fwank has control over the heavyweight scene and until he's ready to get rid of them they will not fight each other .

I think Usyk has brought back belief that a boxer can win the title at HW at not merely someone with extraordinary physical gifts like Joshua, Fury or Wilder.

I’d hate to see the heavies go the way of basketball, like a genetic lottery. It does make me view the whole bridgerweight fiasco with a more forgiving eye.

I’d pay good money to see Jalolov V Itauma sometime in the future, mind you.
