TURKI ALALSHIKH HOPES FOR CHRISTIAN MBILLI-LESTER MARTINEZ, JARED ANDERSON-JARRELL MILLER ON SEPT. 13 UNDERCARD

If His Excellency Turki Alalshikh were to have his way, a pair of high-profile bouts would be on the undercard of Canelo Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford on Sept. 13 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Netflix.

The Ring’s Mike Coppinger reported that Alalshikh hopes to have WBC interim super middleweight champion Christian Mbilli face rising contender Lester Martinez and heavyweights Jared Anderson vs. Jarrell Miller.

A bout between the unbeaten super middleweights would mark a quick turnaround for both fighters. Mbilli (29-0, 24 KOs) is coming off a first-round KO of Maciej Sulecki on June 27 to nab the interim title in Canada. Mbilli has won four of his last five fights by stoppage.

Martinez (19-0, 16 KOs), who is ranked No. 3 (WBA), No. 7 (WBC) and No. 15 (WBO), was scheduled to fight Pierre Hubert Dibombe this past Saturday, but had to withdraw at the beginning of fight week because of an occipital neuralgia, a condition caused by a pinched nerve in the neck and scalp that produces symptoms similar to migraines.

When Martinez would be cleared to fight remains to be seen and is one of the deciding factors in whether it’s possible he could face Mbilli in time for Sept. 13 or for the Ring IV card on Nov. 22 that's headlined by David Benavidez vs. Anthony Yarde in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Anderson, 25, vs. Miller, 36, would mark a significant crossroads fight. Anderson (18-1, 15 KOs), who is ranked No. 5 (WBO), No. 10 (IBF) and No. 13 (WBC), got back in the win column after his fifth-round stoppage loss to Martin Bakole on Aug. 3 with a unanimous decision victory over Marios Kollias on Feb. 14 in a 10-round bout.

Miller (26-1-2, 22 KOs) last fought to a controversial majority draw against former heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz on Aug. 3. He was scheduled to face interim WBA heavyweight champion Fabio Wardley on June 7, but a shoulder injury forced the former out of the bout.

Miller is ranked No. 3 by the WBA.

Jarrell Miller secures Las Vegas license for Jared Anderson

Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller has officially gained his license to fight in Nevada, clearing a significant hurdle for a long-discussed grudge match against Jared Anderson.

The brash Brooklyn heavyweight posted his Nevada State Athletic Commission boxing license on social media, wasting no time in reigniting his feud with the Toledo knockout artist.

“Vegas license LFG,” Miller wrote in bold red letters on his Instagram story, tagging Jared Anderson, Anderson’s advisor J Prince, and Turki Alalshikh while including a personal insult aimed at Anderson, branding him “Cry baby bit** Anderson.”

Miller, 37, has been chasing a big-name opponent since holding Andy Ruiz Jr. to a draw in August 2024. The stalemate, but Miller is in good standing with Alalshikh, who promised the New Yorker another big fight.

allegedly secured Miller’s signature to face Fabio Wardley over the summer, only for the fight to fall through.

Anderson, 25, got back to winning ways in February after Martin Bakole wiped him out on the same card as Miller. ‘The Real Big Baby’ now looks to silence his critics by stepping up in class for a second time.

High Stakes for Two American Heavyweights

The clash is on course for the blockbuster undercard of the Saul “Canelo” Alvarez vs Terence Crawford super fight, scheduled for September 13 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

With both men licensed and active, it is shaping up to be an all-American heavyweight grudge match on the grandest of stages.

There is real bad blood brewing. Miller has repeatedly ridiculed Anderson’s level of competition, while Anderson responded by referencing Miller’s past PED misdemeanors. Their rivalry has simmered for months online, setting the table for a fierce showdown if promoters can nail down the final details.

With Miller’s Nevada license now confirmed through December 31, 2025, and the biggest boxing card of the year offering a prime showcase, the timing could be perfect for these two American heavyweights to settle their beef in Sin City.

Fans should buckle up for a fiery collision if the deal goes through.

Probably the best fight available to either of them at the moment. The loser will have a lot of working to do to become relevant again.

Big baby vs big baby is a really really good fight.

But of an odd move for Jared Anderson though, got big boy bullied not long ago…. He won’t be able to miss miller but no one can. But I guess miller dosent punch like bakole (both arm punchers but bakoles have power)

I’d of gone Anderson vs Hunter if I was his team, miller would I’ll be a tough night.
