won pretty much everything as a jr/youth, i think like 50 straight wins he's on. his incomplete boxrec record here is 29-0 atm but think he's actually something like 70-4 hardly even taken to a split over the last few years
very slick southpaw with sharp reflexes and lots of tricks up his sleeve. a bit pitter patterish. has some billy joe saunders vibes stlyistically

It's a tribute to Frank Varey, a young champion who won everything in the schoolboys and died tragically away from the ring. He always wore long pink socks. A lot of his fellow champions and international teammates started wearing them after he died.
