Itauma is an amazing prospect. He carries real power too. Whyte has mixed it at the top level and no-one has done that to him.

Moses is a special talent indeed.

The question is, what to do with him?

He easily despatches anybody that isn't elite, but I wouldn't put him in with anybody like Kabayel or Parker, for example, right now.

Forget any talk of Usyk, Oleksandr would school him.

Someone like Zhang might be feasible, as ZZ has no stamina, but he does have frightening power, so if he lands, we will know whether Moses can take a punch, or get up from a knockdown to win a fight.

Anyway, the world is his oyster and he's only just turned 20!

An excellent fight for Itauma and his camp as well all those profiting from the media hype surrounding him.

An excellent night also for Dillian Whyte and his camp.

£1 million a minute for swaying around without throwing a punch.

What was he scared off?

Accidentally knocking out the next big HW cash cow?

Perhaps next time a better script is required?

Perhaps Itauma could carry his victim a little longer?

Perhaps the referee could let the crowd see the KO they paid good money to see?

Dillian Whyte was already shot af before this fight. I don't remember the number of times he's been knocked down in his career, but it's gotta be nearing like 10 times now.

All this talk about Itauma fighting Usyk is nonsense. Itauma hasn't fought a single fighter near the top 15, let alone top 10 or top 5. Turki should really get his head checked if he's serious about Usyk vs Itauma.

Can't really blame Usyk if he accepts, but maybe the ideal build up would be for Itauma to fight a top 10 rival and Usyk to give Parker the fight he has earned?

Convincing wins could make Usyk v Itauma the biggest fight in boxing next year.


The real conundrum is finding Moses a fight he wins whilst being stretched a little at the same time.

Since there are literally tens of £millions on the line here, we need someone safe with a proven track record.

Is there anyone in Boxing with a good chin who doesn't throw a lot of punches? Like a Dominick Guinn type? The closest I can think of is Joe Joyce, but we all know he can be stopped, but it takes some doing.

Franklin is a good shout, as is Miller.
Hrgovic's cut looks like it might be a while to heal.
Then if you want more risk Torrez Jr or Fabio Wardley

I think if he and Torrez continue the trajectory they're both on. It'd be cooler to see their clash be for the title some day so I'd hold off on that one.

Same with Wardley.

Anyone else in the division would be fair game though. Are there no Mariusz Wach types in the division anymore? Just a big lug who can take a lot of hits

There's gotta be someone that fits that description. The main things Itauma needs before he moves forward is rounds I think. I wouldn't purposely get him in there with someone who might chin him until it's for the big bucks. If I'd have him fight a puncher it'd be one like Zhang or Wilder who have shown massive vulnerability. Dubois or AJ would be way more risky, but more impressive.

Moses is way too slick and fast for an heavyweight, and that finally adds some spice to a plodding division. Whyte's worst stylistical nightmare appeared and it was out quickly.

A question about Itauma's weight.

My English is not so well, but here,



i can cleanly hear "two hundred and FORTY five" (and 1/2 blah blah)
But we can see 235 in text and now - on site. I think, that number not fit into usual Itauma's weight statistics. While 245 seems like true weight.
Should it be corrected?
