If Jennings wouldn't have taken Klitschko bout for 3 belts in April 2015, it's possible that we would've gotten Povetkin-Jennings fight instead of Povetkin-Perez fight in what would've been a WBC final title eliminator (for the right to face Wilder) in May 2015, in Russia... Jennings defeated Perez a year prior in another WBC elimination bout.

Who would've won Jennings-Povetkin?

I'd have to favor Povetkin considering that Jennings never really got a particularly meaningful victory. Would be a competitive fight though as both were pretty tough.

pov was a higher level back then, at his peak. jennings was solid but unspectacular and wouldnt have the special ingredients to win

its worth noting that jennings only beat mike perez by 1 point (the difference was a 12th round deduction) shortly before pov iced perez. jennings and perez were same level, and that was below povetkin

Povetkin would beat the sh1t out of Jennings and stop him.
