I like bud and definitely think he is one of the best, but his resume is still thin and he is just not active enough.
I don't even know if I have him over Inoue or Usyk, but with this win we definitely have 3 active ATG fighters at the same time.

Exactly how I feel. Fighting once a year compared to Usyk or Inoue, who are far more active, counts against him. I don't think anyone doubts his ability.
However, if he went up and beat Bivol then I think he would undoubtedly be the #1.

Bivol vs. Bud sounds crazy, considering he started at lightweight, but I like it. Bivol isn't Canelo, but he has a better chance than Canelo did to beat Bivol.
Might as well go down to middleweight to collect a belt in one more weightclass.

Crawford showed there a levels. There are world class stars and then there are p4p all-time greats. He barely looked in trouble and Canelo was visibly frustrated.
Interestingly, Canelo has arguably lost to every p4p great he's faced in their prime or close enough to it. Crawford, Bivol, Golovkin and Mayweather. He's beat some very good names across multiple weightclasses but some way past it and others not as high level as those mentioned.
I think Bivol beats Crawford though. That's a step too far against a very high level boxer. If Crawford dares to be in contention of being one of the best p4p boxers of all time then he should go for it but his legacy would still be competitive if he picks up belts at Super Welterweight and Middleweight by facing Boots and Ortiz.

Unfortunately not many really rated Bivol before his fight with Alvarez.
He was always good but he just needed to get out of bed for a real fight instead of coasting against lower level opponents. Bivol only started gaining more respect after he beat Canelo. Before that, not so much.
