Beats Canelo
Where does he go from here ?
Is there a Light Heavyweight he could take a crown from in a one off

The Bivol fight is the biggest option for him now.

That's too much if it goes 12 which it probably will
Canelo has taken enough punishment
Pick someone else

Crawford is too small for Bivol

Or is he :box:
Bivol is the defensive type, not like he's a go getter in terms of attack

Crawford has a world of options.

Rematch with Canelo, attempt at Light Heavyweight, attempt at Middleweight Championship, defend the Super Middleweight title against someone else, retire and rest on his laurels.

He has a lot to think about

It wouldn't surprise me if Floyd calls him out.

It’s a shame all them years he was barely active and only fought once a year if that.. I have no doubt he could have matched FMJ 50-0 by now.

I'd go the Middleweight route.

I'd either do that or go the "Screw You guys, I'm going home" route. Depending on how motivated he can get himself for the Middleweight fight, and how much potential money is on the line for it.

If Floyd is gonna ever fight again, it'd be a rematch with Pacquiao. I'm sure Floyd's ego is bruised, but I don't think his common sense has failed him enough for him to want to fight Crawford all of a sudden.

IMO, whether he fights Crawford will come down to three things. Money, money and money.

Turki would have to be offering something completely insane like half a billion dollars or something, but for that fight, he may very well do something like that.

I know he earned all the money in the world, but he wouldn't be the first former champion to be in need of money.

Even if he did. For the internet, know nothing fans this fight may mean something. For all of us Boxing die hards that know the sport well, from a competitive standpoint that fight would be pointless at this point in time.

There are a few good options and a very good rouge option…

Bivol (175 for mega glory, 168 for still quite a lot of glory)

Zahnibek whatever that kazac 160 is.

Canelo 2 (obviously still huge)

Boots or Ortiz or preferably the winner of boots and Ortiz if that were to happen quick.

Rouge one…. Badu jack for the wbc cruiserweight world title. Craw would beat him, and then having belts from 135-200 would be fornicating wild.

How about TC fight the winner of Benavidez and Yarde
Yarde wins take it to the UK
Benavidez wins do it out here

That's certainly an option. There's several roads he could take next that all would enhance his legacy a little should he be successful. If Yarde somehow pulls off the upset over Benavidez I'd rather see Crawford do something altogether different than take on Yarde.

Beating Badou Jack would be the most amusing thing he could possibly do. Beating Dmitry Bivol would be a truly astonishing achievement. Picking up a Middleweight belt would give him a 6th world title in a 6th weight class but otherwise than that it wouldn't be that impressive as there's really nobody to beat there.

Defending his Super Middleweight belt against Benavidez would be bigger than winning a Middleweight belt I think.

I'd imagine TC would only be looking at big money fights
No offense to Badou, but Crawford is in a different league isn't he

No doubt about it. It just seems a shame that some big name smaller fighter isn't going to go up and take that belt off of Badou Jack. He might be the most beatable Champion in all of Boxing right now.

Oh I see
But he's 41
Badou has names on his record but they were a long time ago
He has a strap at a higher weight which puts him in the mix
Seems a bit of a stretch and taking advantage of him
For legit payday reasons, service to the sport give him his shot but it's likely not going to go down well

God wouldn't it be unreal if they actually made a matchup like that? In the modern Boxing world with Shieky Baby's money. Hell I don't know. The sky's the limit

I know you were just kidding, but hell 5 years ago I would've thought you were joking if you said Crawford was gonna go beat Canelo at Super Middle, but by God he did it.

I can see why it'd be hard for Crawford to just call it a career right now when he's just now arrived to the Super Stardom that he's always craved. He's the guy now, and he'd be worth more money in his next fight or 2 than in almost all of the previous bouts combined. It's hard to walk away from the money that is now sitting at his table when it wasn't there before.
