Well it's been 6 months since Sintisin's last fight. I think bids for Krasniqi Hoffman rematch are tomorrow as well

Well Arthurs on a winning roll so maybe it's a good idea to keep the momentum going.

News from Per Aake Persson:
There were no purse bids today for EBU 130 lb ruler Boris Sinitsin´s mandatory defence against Scotman Alex Arthur as the parties reached an agreement. No date or site given yet but it´s very likely we´ll see Sinitsin back in Scotland before not too long.
Other EBU news:
Sauerland Event were the only bidder at today´s (April 12) purse offers for Luan Krasniqi´s defence of the EBU heavyweight title against fellow German Timo Hoffmann. Universum, who promotes Krasniqi had asked for an extension for three months of the mandatory defence but that was not granted by the EBU council. Sauerland Event will try to stage Krasniqi v Hoffmann already May 14 in Bayreuth - and as Luan is to participate in a WBO eliminator against Lance Whitaker May 28 it´s pretty clear that Krasniqi v Hoffmann II(they fought a heated draw in December of last year) won´t happen. The next step for the EBU would then be to strip Krasniqi of the belt with Hoffmann to take on the next available challenger.
Stefano Zoff have vacated the EBU 135 lb title in order to concentrate on the upcoming titlefight against Leavander Johnson May 21. Zoff´s mandatory challenger was Yuri Romanov who now most likely will face Pole Matt Zegan for the vacant EBU crown.

Nah, I don't mean that mate. I just meant it was very quick for the EBU to nominate Arthur as mandatory and ask for purse bids only a few days after the Doc fight.
I assume he must have been mandatory before Friday...

Yeah he was. Him Docherty and Limond actually are all high up. Them, the unbeaten Hungarian chap - Nogy? Nagy? - and someone else fill the top #5

Shit meant to say Yes, get your point though that Arthur could have lost to Docherty but then gone on to beat Sinitsin, so he'd be the best in Europe but 2nd best in UK

Good to see Arthur not hanging about.
Does anyone know who is next in line after Hoffmann if they are going to strip Krasniqi?

I doubt Klitchko would go for it. Sam may, but I think he's sufficiently high up the WBC rankings he may actually bide his time and hope for a crack at Klitchko snr. An opening for Skelton perhaps?

Class. You have a future in writing about the game if you can come up with more of this shit. Hey, I'm serious.
