The Circle of Life

Last year, Tim Tszyu was riding high. He was the WBO Light Middleweight Champion, had made a couple of defences back home in Oz & was defending his belt against well known American boxer Keith Thurman in Las Vegas.

Then Thurman pulls out injured &, rather than not fight, Tszyu agrees to fight a late substitute in Sebastian Fundora.

Fundora was coming off a stoppage loss against Brian Mendoza who Tszyu has easily outpointed after that. So an easy night looked to be on the cards.

An elbow to the eye changed all that & both fighters lives. Tszyu ended up losing a decision, then got fornicating walloped by Bakhram "You'll see me less often than Haley's Comet" Murtazaliev & then got smashed up in a return with Fundora & now his career at top flight looks over.

Fundora is now riding high & was going to defend his belt against the aforementioned Thurman in two weeks but Sebastian has now pulled out with an injury.

To complete the circle we MUST see Thurman against Tszyu on October 25th. It's the only way the universe will have any balance.

p.s. I have had an operation on my ankle & am at home on strong painkillers.

Is Tim in training? He always looks in shape like he lives the life.

Probably, if he's not getting attacked by dags.

But he's just changed his whole team. I don't see what they can do for him. I'd like to say he needs a good rest but he's in his 30s now & coming off two bad stoppage losses so time is of the essence.

As for Fundora v Thurman, hopefully it's not held up too long or we might not see Keith for another 3 years.
