The Truth was a very good boxer with a poor chin. Against Byrd though he doesn't have to worry about that, and he'd dominate from the outside with his jab. Williams by something like 118-111. Bad matchup for Byrd.

Yeah I think Carl could outbox Byrd. He had pretty decent movement. Byrd probably has the advantage in power, and probably a slight advantage in speed, but it's offset by Carl's advantage in power, and the height and reach is gonna allow Carl to catch Byrd coming in a lot.

Carl had stamina issues sometimes, but that was usually when being pressured by big, strong opponents which Byrd really isn't.

I favor Williams by fairly close UD here.

For the record I thought you could've easily scored the Williams' fight with Tim Witherspoon in Carl's favor as well. He gave as good as he got there and he was the defending USBA Champ.
