I think Jimmy Ellis would eventually stop Foster in 9 or 10 rounds of a competitive bout.

I think that Ellis beats Foster at Light Heavyweight as well as Heavyweight. At least Jimmy would not have to face guys like Frazier, Ali, and Shavers at light heavyweight. I don't think that Ellis would have trouble making the 175 lb. limit after fighting for years at middleweight.
