I would have picked Pernell Whitaker by decision.

I guess, we take Crawford from 2023 (Spence fight) and Whitaker of 1993 (Chavez fight).

At 147 - I'd favour Crawford, who would be physically bigger and stronger of the two. And whose skills, I think, could've matched Whitaker's.

I'd take Crawford by UD as well. Would be an interesting chess match. A different challenge entirely to a lot of the other big opponents we've matched him with in these mythical fights.

Yes, exactly what I was thinking - Crawford will have to be the aggressor here. And he won't always be an effective one, as Whitaker's feet movement, faints and quick potshots will be giving Crawford's fits.

However, I think Crawford has good enough feet to move with Whitaker and chase him down while punching with him. Crawford's lands will be harder and snappier.
