Sheed! History claims that Hugo Corro didn't want anything to do with Marvelous when he was champion and Marvelous was the #1 contender in the world.
The narrative was that when Corro was defending his middleweight title against Vito Antuofermo, he indeed purposely made himself get beat by Vito because he didn't want to face Hagler for the crown.
I don't blame Hugo for that. He would have been blasted by a hungry Marvelous.
